Hyatt Regency Miami

We have secured a special group rate of $219 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Hyatt Regency Miami. Reservations must be made by Monday, November 22, 2021 to receive the special rate, based on availability. After this date, we must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

Note: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am; baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

Registration Fees & Information

Full conference registration fee includes access to all activities Monday through Wednesday, including but not limited to: plenary sessions and evening social events. Meals included are: breakfast Monday through Wednesday, lunch on Monday and Tuesday, and light food and beverage at the Monday and Tuesday evening receptions. There will also be morning and afternoon beverage service Monday morning through Wednesday morning.

Advance registrations must be received by Friday, November 26, 2021. Advance registrants will receive confirmation via email. Registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees may not be listed in the Participant List. Other Event Information

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing. A full refund will be made if the organizers receive the cancellation by November 26, 2021. After November 26, 2021, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied if a cancellation request is submitted on or before Friday, December 10, 2021. Thereafter, registration is considered final and no refund will be available. Submit all requests via email to registration@waterresilienceforum.org.

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the start of the Forum. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA)/National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, AMWA/NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “AMWA/NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting, including any claims related to communicable diseases, and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to AMWA/NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that AMWA/NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Continuing Education Credits

Attend AMWA and NACWA’s Water Utility Resilience Forum and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification. Simply stop by the registration desk at the Forum and leave your business card or email Ebony Scott at escott@nacwa.org after the Forum and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have a spouse or family member joining you in Miami? Be sure to register them so that they can join you at the receptions. Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

Ground Transportation

The Miami International Airport (MIA) is approximately 9 miles from the Hyatt Regency Miami. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Uber:  An UberX from MIA to the hotel is an estimated $33.

Lyft:  A Lyft from MIA to the hotel is an estimated $18 – $21

Taxi Cab:  The estimate fare from MIA to the hotel is approximately $28

Airport Shuttles:  A one-way, private car from the airport to the hotel is an estimated $35. To make your reservation ahead of time, please visit the Airport Shuttles website.

Metrorail/MetroMover:  Public transportation is available in the Miami Central Station at the airport. Once you arrive, board the Orange Line Metrorail heading towards Dadeland South. Deboard the Metrorail at the Government Center stop. Walk about 1 minute to the MetroMover and board the Green Line heading towards School Board. Deboard at the Riverwalk MetroMover station. From there, head east on SW 3rd St (towards SE 1st Pl.). Turn right onto SE 4th St. Make another right and the hotel will be on your right. You will need an EASY Card to ride public transit. They can be purchased cad vending machines in Miami Central Station. A one-way trip from the airport to the hotel is approximately $4.

Hotel Parking:  Self-parking is available at $22 per day. Valet parking is also available at $47 per day. In-and-out privileges are available for valet parking but not for self-parking.
